Above Ground Opening Details

The Above Ground Pool Opening includes a liquid chemical opening kit consisting of chlorine, algaecide, and clarifier.  This chemical kit is designed to give your pool water the boost it needs to be up and running as soon as possible depending on your overall water quality at the time of opening as well as your care of the pool after opening.  The above ground pool opening also includes cover removal and preparations for cover storage over the summer as well as complete assembly of the pump station and detailed inspection of all associated pool parts.

We only ask that you have your cover drained and free of as much debris as possible before we arrive for your opening.  In the event that you are unable to drain your cover and remove all debris from the cover so that we are able to remove it when we arrive for your opening, we will drain the cover for you and remove the debris for an additional minimum fee of $60.00+tax. Your cover should be drained and free of debris enough for our staff to simply loosen your cable system and remove your cover. The cover draining fee applies as soon as we are required to put our drain pumps on the cover in order to remove enough weight (water and debris) for us to safely remove your cover.  

By the time we are done, your pool should be swimmable in 4-6 days (this rough time frame gives the pool water a chance to balance out into the acceptably safe ranges for swimming) depending heavily on water condition when opened and your post opening pool care.  The Above Ground Pool Opening price is $230+tax plus cover draining fee* where applicable. We DO NOT, in any case, install ladders or steps into any above ground pool. Installation of your above ground entry and exit system (step or ladder) is the responsibility of the client in every situation.

To assure that your pool becomes crystal clear and perfectly swimmable in as little time possible, be sure to follow these post pool opening guidelines.  If, at time of opening, your pool is green, brown, or severely out of balance, we also offer a Green to Clean service to help you correct the problem in the quickest time possible.
